About Us

built by you

The Okki Tokki journey from concept to reality started back in late 2023. It was an effort to serve a truly different experience right into our community. Ever since we’ve grown to be a group of passionate people who not just want you to enjoy your food but have a great time with us.

We wanted to share a piece of our culture with everyone, so that was why the concept started, and the best way we knew how to do so was thru our food. Figuring out how to introduce bold flavors and ingredients, while at the same time making it accessible for everyone was the challenge. So we worked on this BYOB (build your own bowl) concept, we took unfamiliar ingredients and dishes, put our own spin on it, and present it in a format that is alittle bit more familiar. We believe that this would be a great way for anyone and everyone to enjoy a piece of Korea, thru our food.

So as our grandmother would ask, “have you eaten yet?”

It gives me great pleasure to contribute to the community with the best food in town and a place to build relationships.

The food is good! I got a rice bowl with beef, grilled chicken, carrot, pickled onion, red cabbage (and several more toppings that I can't remember off the top of my head) with the signature OT sauce. The person who served me was kind and helpful too, gave some recommendations to try in the bowl and it came out incredibly delicious! Will definitely come here again (and bring my siblings along to try!)

I never review places. Today changed my mind. This place was so delicious, so helpful, and so absolutely kind! I got entirely to much food (which is never a bad thing) and bought way to many imported drinks because I had to try them all! 10 out of 10 on Service alone! The food will definitely have me going back!

Lawd Have Mercy!!!!! This place is phenomenal. The food was outrageous. The taste was superb I honestly dont have the words to describe how good this place is. So you walk in and the decor is pretty cool very asian fusion anime inspired. The way it works is you pick your protein. Idk if the menu changes but they had braised beef (🤤🤤) shrimp or chicken. I got the braised beef but the shrimp and chicken looked great. You pick if you want rice or sweet potatoe noodles the noodles looked wild cause they are see through but we're incredible. Then the veggies, I tried the kimchi slaw not my favorite just wasn't for me. The sauce is what really brought out the dish I had the seoul sistas and the OT. Which the young lady recommended and she did not disappoint. I cant recommend this place enough. It's nestled in downtown, blink and you can miss no real signage or anything that really catches the eye except for a sandwich board sign outside. The seating is very lifted maybe about 4 tables so get there fast and enjoy.

Not sure how this place would get anything other than a 5 star review. I had the japchae (sweet potato noodles) with braised beef and lots of veggies and garnishes. It was not only delectable but the portion was so generous that 6 out of 7 of us took leftovers. The food is super fresh and the spot is casual. Wish we had one of these up in Connecticut!
